1.2358 (60CrMoV18-5) directly from stock & cut to your required dimensions.
Tempered tool steel for cold and hot working operations. Good through hardenability and very good surface hardening, with high impact strength and wear resistance. Good polishability and weldability. Alternatively for very high carbon steels which have only low toughness such as 1.2080, 1.2436 and the standard tool steel 1.2379.
Forming, cold forming, deep drawing tools, bending tools, plastic molds, cold extrusion tools, molding tools, stamping tools, for segmented cutting tools, shear blades, tools for hot work where low temperature occurs.
Quenched and tempered max. 325 HB
Good Weldability and polishability.

The processing with the saw is a mechanical processing of the material, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting.
Thus, the machined workpiece has a homogeneous structure even at the edge, which does not change in the continuation of the material.
This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
