AISI 4330V mod.
Under the standardization AISI 4330V mod., we understand the following steel grade in the German material system:
AISI 4330V mod. is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel with a good hardenability and toughness. The material AISI 4330V mod. is basically an AISI 4330 steel with strength and hardenability increased by the addition of vanadium (V). The designation “modified” is used for a significantly higher addition of nickel.
Due to its wear resistance, the material is particularly suitable in applications involving shock loading or high-performance concentration.
