Scopes:
High-temperature resistant, chemically resistant nickel-copper alloy. Material grade 2.4360 / Alloy 400 is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance in a wide variety of corrosive media. High resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Excellent mechanical properties at sub-freezing temperatures and good high-temperature properties up to 450°C. Resistant to flowing seawater/splash zones. Furthermore, good resistance to alkalis, salt solutions, hydrofluoric acid, non-oxidizing dilute acids, and inorganic acids.
