The non-alloy structural steel 1.0601 / C60E is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, automotive construction, and tool manufacturing. Thanks to its high strength and excellent machinability, this material is perfectly suited for components subjected to increased mechanical demands.

Characteristics

C60 is difficult to weld and is not suitable for welded structures . As a rule, the material should be preheated to 250 ° C to be error-free welded.

Advantages of saw cut

The processing with the saw is a mechanical processing of the material, which results in a significantly lower unintended deformation and increased hardness for the existing structure, such as the thermal cutting.
