From now on you can find the high-alloyed chromium, nickel, molybdenum steel 1.4501 as forged steel bars in our stock, the material is from European origin. This intercrystalline corrosion-resistant stainless steel is characterized by its exceptional mechanical properties in aggressive environmental conditions.
1.4501 - ASTM A182 F55 - Superduplex: UNS S32760
The material is excellent for all components that require a good combination of impact strength and toughness resistance, this material is alloyed with for example with: copper, tungsten and even nitrogen.
The use at lower temperatures in the corresponding heat treatment state is also possible if required.
The mechanical properties of the material allow a normal mechanical processing with the conventional methods and normal welding process properties (without required post-heating treatment) can be used.
In English speaking countries, this material is comparable to the F55 according to ASTM A182 and also according to UNS S32760.
