High temperature resistant steel from stock
High-temperature-resistant steel is used at elevated temperatures of approx. 500°C - 800°C and is suitable for extreme thermomechanical loads. If a high degree of strength is required in high but also fluctuating temperatures, a high-temperature steel can be used.
In the area of flat steel, the material 1.4903 is used. The material grade 1.4923 can be ordered online as EU material from stock as round and flat steel.
Application areas for high-temperature resistant steel
Due to the higher alloy content of nickel, high-temperature-resistant steel has a high structural stability. Averse to corrosion, a good creep strength is ensured. Austenitic steel with a very low C content is used primarily for power plant construction.
